Resumen:
On the surface of a planet in the K'tord Nebula, Optimus Prime and his Autobots are engaged in a brutal, unrestrained brawl with Lord Jhiaxus and his Decepticons. All of the combatants -- Autobots and Decepticons alike -- are fighting like mad, without any concern for restraint or mercy.
In orbit above, Hound struggles to keep his temper under control as he tries to recount what happened. The Autobots had entered the nebula in hopes that frightening rumors about the region would stop the Decepticons from following them (from issue #1). Unfortunately, it didn't work; worse, as tempers began to flare on the Autobot shuttle, the Decepticons boarded it and attacked. Hound was knocked out by a stray blast, but the others carried their battle to the planet. He sends the message out to warn others to avoid the area.
Down below, Jhiaxus chases Optimus into an isolated canyon, but quickly loses him. While Optimus struggles against an overwhelming urge to continue fighting, Jhiaxus roars painfully at the end of the brawl. Though Jhiaxus had envisioned himself as a calm, rational leader, the bloodlust forces him to see himself as a petty, sadistical tyrant -- and the revelation scares him.
Optimus then approaches Jhiaxus, and encourages him to resist the fighting urge. A shadowy plague suddenly oozes from their body, and Optimus deduces that it is a life-form that feeds on their violence. Working together, they stop their troops from fighting and drain away the parasite. As the Autobots leave under a temporary banner of peace, Jhiaxus orders the alien to be destroyed, and leaves for some quiet introspection.

Resumen:
Somewhere in another galaxy, the pirate crew of a starship are surprised by the sudden appearance of an uncharted planetoid. It is the Decepticon Warworld, commanded by Bludgeon, and it destroys the pirate ship with quick ease.
As the other Decepticons sift through the debris for salvagable weapons and material, Bludgeon considers his next course of action: He has built an army of new Decepticons, and now only needs to give them life. Unfortunately, the only Transformer who can do that is Optimus Prime (with the Creation Matrix), whom Bludgeon believes to be safely secured on Cybertron.
Bludgeon suddenly realizes how he can draw Optimus out of hiding. He orders the Warworld on a new course -- for Earth.
