Resumen:
On an unnamed penal planet, a group of alien scientists are tricked into unleashing the Destructons, a band of robotic criminals imprisoned there.
Meanwhile, on another planet, an alien inventor reveals his newest invention, a prototype device that can increase the energy in energon. The Decepticons quickly steal the device, then use it to build the Nullification Cannon. Before they can use it, Optimus Prime attacks in an attempt to destroy the weapon. During the fight, Scorponok tries to sieze the moment and take over as the leader of the Decepticons; his attempt is thwarted as more Autobots arrive and join the battle.
Things become even more complicated when the Destructons appear and attack the Autobots and the Decepticons. Though they are battered at first, Cyclonus and Ultra Magnus unite their forces to defeat the Destructons.
