Resumen:

On board the Ark, Galvatron and Megatron are busy fighting each other. Galvatron thinks that killing Megatron will eliminate the madness that impedes his clinical efficiency; Megatron, still groggy from the effects of life-support stasis, thinks he's being attacked by Ratchet. In the bridge, Shockwave and Starscream notice their life signs and head down to investigate.

Elsewhere in space, the Decepticons have chosen a new planet to conquer -- Klo, a peaceful world with reasonable technology levels and an abundance of resources. Back on the dying planet of Cybertron, Prowl is busy blaming himself for trusting the Decepticons and causing the Autobots to be left behind (last issue). His self- flagellation is interrupted when Grimlock arrives with three Decepticon battle cruisers.

As the Ark approaches Earth, Ratchet is awakened from stasis. His initial disorientation is made worse because his thoughts are mixed with Megatron's. The effect is mutual, and Megatron suddenly stops fighting in confusion. Galvatron quickly subdues him (and Ratchet), but refrains from killing Megatron -- there's a chance that this Megatron is the one he is created from. Hearing footsteps, Galvatron hides; Starscream and Shockwave arrive a moment later, and find the dazed Megatron sprawled on the floor. Shockwave sends Starscream to look for any other stowaways, and Starscream soon finds Ratchet, who is still reeling from the terror of sharing Megatron's mind.

On Cybertron, Grimlock explains where the cruisers came from as the Autobots prepare them for flight. They were stolen by the Dinobots millions of years ago, before the Ark crashed on Earth, in case the Dinobots wanted to leave the Autobots. They remained untouched during all this time, until Grimlock -- who was suspicious of the Decepticons -- retrieved them. Prowl compliments Grimlock's foresight, and Grimlock hints that he knows where the Decepticons are going.

As the cargo crate containing HiQ and the Neo-Knights is jostled around, HiQ once again asks the humans to help him find the Last Autobot. When G.B. Blackrock doubts that five humans can save Cybertron, Thunderpunch reminds him that they also fared rather well against Unicron...

Starscream jokes about how Ratchet is too easy to kill, which provokes Ratchet into a fighting frenzy. Shockwave prepares to kill Megatron, but is ambushed by Galvatron. Megatron feels a strange kinship to Galvatron, and the two quickly forge an alliance of conquest. This horrifies Ratchet, who detonates the remaining Nucleon on board. The explosion destroys the engines, and the Ark is sent crashing into the Earth once more -- as it did four million years ago (in the first issue).
