Resumen:

As the Transformers scramble for safety, Unicron strikes, tearing out -- and feasting on -- a large chunk of Cybertron. A terrorized Brainstorm fires hopelessly at Unicron, only to be eaten as a "tasty" appetizer. Emirate Xaaron/Primus calls on Optimus Prime and Scorponok to rally the Transformers; unfortunately, Unicron's sheer size and presence overwhelms them, leaving them unable to properly command their forces.

They're not the only ones. Shockwave can do nothing but gape at Unicron, unable to formulate a logical response. Starscream, however, has an answer -- get off the planet! The Neo-Knights, on the other hand, don't even have that option. G.B. Blackrock dismisses the idea of fighting Unicron, but the others disagree. When Thunderpunch pointedly reminds him that it was his idealism that assembled them in the first place, Blackrock is proudly humbled into agreeing.

Unopposed, Unicron idly blasts Cybertron with his eye-beams, bellowing for some sort of challenge. He is sent reeling by Primus, who binds him in force beams and politely chides him for overconfidence. Though Unicron is surprised, he quickly realizes that this is a ruse, then breaks free and vaporizes Emirate Xaaron.

Impatient with the Transformers' inaction, Galvatron takes the initiative and begins an aerial attack. Unicron swats him away, but Galvatron succeeds -- the Autobots and Decepticons fall out of their stupor and begin their own attack. Savoring their challenge, Unicron fights back with lustful vigor, killing Transformers by the hundreds.

Optimus Prime is badly bruised by an explosion and lands at Scorponok's feet. He tells Scorponok to lead the fight; despite his fear and hesitation, Scorponok gathers his courage and charges boldly at Unicron.

Elsewhere on Cybertron, the Neo-Knights battle Unicron with mixed results. Thunderpunch is bruised all over, while Dynamo is unable to tap into Cybertron's energies, and Rapture succeeds in entrancing Unicron for just a brief moment. In desperation, Blackrock begins slapping and yelling at Circuit Breaker, trying to break her out of her traumatized state by saying that "the robots" are mocking her.

In a wild berserker rage, Scorponok tears into Unicron's foot, only to be stopped by a burst of superheated flame. Unicron is then cuffed with a kamakaze sideswipe from the Ark, and Grimlock orders the Autobots -- recently revived by Nucleon -- to jump into the battle. Below, Optimus comforts the melted, dying Scorponok with a final word of reassurance...

Unicron is suddenly blasted off Cybertron by a powerful bolt of energy ... from the Creation Matrix! While Optimus worries which is the greater evil, the corrupted Matrix battles Unicron for control of Cybertron. But Unicron mocks its efforts, dispersing the Matrix-creature and shattering Thunderwing with a sudden burst of strength.

Free once more, Unicron transforms into his planet form and begins his final consumption of Cybertron. Optimus separates HiQ from him, then prepares to make a last, desperate bid to save Cybertron. Unicron is interrupted by a mindblast from Circuit Breaker, who is still being taunted by G.B. Blackrock. Her will-power has been pushed to its highest limits, fueled by raging anger and the last of her sanity. Blackrock implores Optimus to act now, while there's still time!

Optimus rockets into the air and grabs the Creation Matrix. It tries to reject him and corrupt him, but Optimus resists. Then, empowered and inspired by the sacrifice and courage of all of the Transformers in the battle, he expunges the corruption in the Matrix and restores its purity once more. Optimus finally understands -- the Transformers were not meant to be sacrificed against Unicron, but to carry on after Primus dies.

Flying into space, Optimus plunges himself deep into Unicron's maw. With a massive burst of life, Unicron explodes, and the battle ends.

The day after, Battletrap and Runabout are walking along the ruins of Cybertron, musing over their purpose after Unicron's destruction. While HiQ watches in horror nearby, Runabout checks out a suspicious bit of movement -- and is eaten by a mysterious creature...
