Resumen:
En route to Cybertron, Unicron devours the planet Ghennix. Three criminals try to escape in a spaceship, but are destroyed by Unicron and remade into Hook, Line, and Sinker. He sends them into the future to fetch an agent for him.
In the Ark's shuttle bay, the Autobots hesitate to attack Thunderwing for fear of damaging the Creation Matrix. Thunderwing fights the Autobots; the Creation Matrix protects him, and Landmine is killed in the first exchange. Optimus Prime then engages Thunderwing in hand-to-hand combat, but Thunderwing handily defeats him. The Creation Matrix, eager to see how goodness can be destroyed, goads Thunderwing to kill Optimus Prime; the other Decepticons are frightened by the fury of Thunderwing's attack.
Stalling for time, Optimus gets Thunderwing to boast about how he defeated Jazz, Grimlock, and Bumblebee at VsQs. Thunderwing is then ambushed by Autobot reinforcements, prompting the Matrix to take control of his wounded body. While this is going on, Nightbeat, Siren, and Hosehead -- who had escaped from the Decepticon ship and are now hiding in the Autobot shuttle -- search for a way to stop the Decepticons.
On Earth, Starscream sneaks out of the Decepticons' New Jersy base, but is secretly followed by Shockwave.
Back in the Ark, the Matrix-possessed Thunderwing is now an unstoppable force that decimates the Autobots. Optimus warns Thunderwing that he is being controlled by the Matrix, but Thunderwing ignores him. When Spinister agrees, he is also attacked -- whereupon Thunderwing realizes that he is being possessed. Optimus tries to subdue Thunderwing as he fights the Matrix's influence, but the Matrix fights back.
On the shuttle, Nightbeat sends Hosehead and Siren out into the docking bay, then activates the shuttle's grappling harpoon. He fires the harpoon and skewers Thunderwing, then Hosehead opens the doors and decompresses the docking bay. Setting the shuttle's self-destruct, Nightbeat leaps out before it -- and Thunderwing -- are pulled into space.
The shuttle explodes, destroying Thunderwing and the Matrix; the remaining Decepticons surrender to the Autobots. When asked how Unicron can be stopped without the Creation Matrix, Optimus vows to find another solution somehow.
