Resumen:
In Primus' sanctum, an old mechanoid (the Keeper) orders the Autobots to prostrate themselves before their god. All of the Autobots immediately comply, except for Grimlock, who suspects "Primus" is a fraud. Grimlock demands to know the origins of the Transformers as proof, and the Keeper agrees to tell him. Meanwhile, while repairs to the trans-time portal continue at Autobase, Emirate Xaaron worries about the Autobots' fate -- and the Decepticons who are following them.
The Keeper tells his tale: at the start of the universe, Primus was one of the Gods of Light, the protector of early life. His final task was to destroy Unicron, the last of the Dark Gods. Unfortunately, Unicron was a better warrior; so before he could be killed, Primus tricked Unicron into trapping both of their spirits in a pair of metal planetoids. They were linked psionically, but eventually the planets drifted apart.
Over time, Primus learned to psionically control his world, and used that skill to make Cybertron. Primus then created the Transformers, in hopes that they would eventually grow strong enough to defeat Unicron, and injected his life essence into the Creation Matrix. Primus then shut himself down so Unicron could not find them prematurely. Primus will sleep until he judges that the Transformers are ready to fight Unicron. According to prophecy, the battle between Unicron and Primus must be resolved.
The Keeper is suddenly killed with a shot from behind. He warns Bumblebee with his dying words that Primus must not be awakened prematurely. Then the Decepticon Pretenders -- Bludgeon, Stranglehold, and Octopunch -- attack the Autobots, who must try to fight them off without awakening Primus.
In an underground Decepticon base in New Jersey, Scorponok confronts his angry Decepticons, who demand to know why Starscream was re-admitted despite his known treachery. Scorponok explains that he wants Starscream nearby so he can watch him closely, and the Decepticons grudgingly agree. But no one is aware that Starscream has eavesdropped on the meeting and is already making plans...
Inside Primus' sanctum, the Autobots are unable to stop Bludgeon's forces due to their self-restraint. Bumblebee wonders if the Autobots must sacrifice themselves for Primus' silence, then concludes that they must fight for their lives. He then rallies the Autobots, coordinating their efforts to defeat the Decepticons.
Victory is short-lived: a final shot from Octopunch ricochets off Grimlock's armor, striking Primus. Primus instantly awakens with a scream that shakes all of Cybertron. Panicking, Emirate Xaaron activates the just-repaired trans-time portal, sending the Autobots to Earth.
In the far reaches of space, Unicron hears, and turns for Cybertron...
