Resumen:

In the Ark's main computer bay, Optimus Prime bemoans Ratchet's death, and wonders if the dismal cycle of war and destruction will ever end. He concludes that the only way he can avoid more tragedy is to stop fighting, which worries an eavesdropping Kup and Hot Rod.

Meanwhile, Jazz, Bumblebee, and Grimlock lead the Cybertron Autobots on a successful raid of a Decepticon fuel depot. Though their presence is helping to boost morale, they make plans to return to Earth (with the Micromaster Rescue Patrol) and help the Autobots there. In response to the Autobots' more daring moves, the Decepticon leader Thunderwing sends Bludgeon, Stranglehold, and Octopunch to kill the reborn Autobots.

The Ark lands on Earth's moon, and Optimus Prime leaves; the Autobots worry that his departure is permanent. Hot Rod unveils a plan to restore Optimus' confidence, by having a Mark V Guardian droid fake an attack so Prime can "save" them. But then the droid goes berserk and starts to really attack the Autobots. Optimus tries to ignore the sounds of battle, but cannot -- he quickly returns and challenges the Guardian. He forcibly defeats the runaway Guardian, and recognizes that he can only honor the dead by fighting for the Autobot cause.

Following the stolen fuel, Bludgeon's forces track the Autobots to a secret base beneath Iacon, where the Autobots prepare to enter the trans-time dimensional portal for Earth. The Decepticons attack; Bludgeon destroys the controls, causing a power surge that sends everyone (except Emirate Xaaron) to an unknown destination.

The Autobot Pretenders and the Rescue Patrol materialize in a dark tunnel. Unaware that Bludgeon's forces are nearby, the Autobots follow the tunnel to its end. They soon arrive at Cybertron's core, a massive chamber containing Primus -- the god of the Transformers.
