Resumen:

On Cybertron, after the Decepticon Sports Car Patrol gloats over how they tricked Ratchet, Megatron introduces him to his newest plan, which somehow involves a suit of advanced Pretender armor.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Optimus Prime and the Autobots are in a standoff against the Decepticon Air Strike Patrol. The Decepticons refuse to surrender, but are not attacking the Autobots; but the Autobots can't attack the Decepticons for fear of injuring any of the human bystandards nearby. Optimus receives a radio call from Ratchet (from last issue), which is interrupted when Storm Cloud destroys his communicator. Optimus, enraged, attacks the Decepticons. Scorponok and his forces arrive; though confused at the Air Strike Patrol's unauthorized attack, he still orders the Decepticons to fight the Autobots.

While the Sports Car patrol has siezed the ark and started to plant explosive charges throughout the ship, Megatron and Ratchet sit and wait for a delivery. Megatron explains that his destruction of the Space Bridge (from issue #25) was just a ruse to cover his escape. Unfortunately, the blast induced amnesia in Megatron, and he lost several months aimlessly wandering the slums of Cybertron. Eventually regaining his memory, Megatron began planning for his return.

At the air field, the Air Strike Patrol escape from the battle, drawing Scorponok's ire. After almost accidentally killing a group of humans, Optimus is reminded of his vow to protect them, even as the fighting escalates.

On Cybertron, Dreadwing and Darkwind have arrived with their delivery -- Starscream's corpse. Megatron orders Ratchet to repair him, so he may serve as Megatron's instrument of revenge...
