Resumen:
Four children (Jed, Sammy, Allan, and Jed's little sister Robin) are playing "space wars" in a rail yard in Northern California. They spot the Protectobots approaching and hide; Streetwise reports to Grimlock that Blaster is under their control, thanks to a mode lock that keeps him from transforming out of his tape deck form. Grimlock wants Blaster back immediately -- as soon as the geothermal generator makes enough Energon cubes to refuel the Ark, they're leaving. Meanwhile, Wheeljack begins to worry about Grimlock's monomania for revenge...
At the rail yard, Blades spots tank treads that might be Brawl's, and Hot Spot orders Groove to move Blaster to a safe spot. The children see a driverless motorcycle pass by, and follow it out of curiousity.
The Combaticons burst out from cover and attack the Protectobots; the children find Blaster (abandoned by Groove) as the fighting begins, and he asks them to help him. Bruticus throws a train car at Defensor, which lands dangerously near the children -- this convinces the kids to help Blaster, and they remove the mode lock in time to save them from a falling high-voltage power line.
In the Ark, Grimlock orders the Autobots to prepare a variable voltage harness, to serve as a perpetual torture/punishment device for Blaster. When Wheeljack reports that the signal from Blaster's mode lock hasn't moved for some time, Grimlock has the Ark prepared for launch so he can fetch Blaster personally.
Bruticus knocks Defensor out with a freight train, then spots Blaster. Blaster explains that he doesn't want to fight them, and that the Decepticons actually did him a favor. Bruticus demands that Blaster kill one of the children to prove he's not with the Autobots. Blaster fires at Sammy, who collapses, and the other children act horrified. This distracts Bruticus long enough for Blaster to zap him with the power line, which scrambles Bruticus and causes him to separate into the individual Combaticons. Sammy stops playing dead -- he was "shot" by Blaster's depleted electro-scrambler.
Once the Protectobots have recovered, Blaster offers to surrender to them, while the children attach the mode lock to Blast Off so they can take him for a ride. Hot Spot declines the surrender, saying that Blaster has shown them that protecting humans is what's really important, and lets him go.
Blaster then boards Blast Off with the kids, and radio-commands Blast Off into orbit -- where they find the Ark, already in space and in pursuit...
