Resumen:

Joey Slick, a washed-up underworld figure, is being pursued by mob hit-men for defaulting on a loan. They chase him into a drainage ditch, where he finds an abandoned pistol. Desperate, Joey grabs the pistol -- which kills the mobsters with a bolt of energy. Joey panics and hide in a barn, where the gun transforms and reveals itself as Megatron. For some reason, after Megatron's fight with Ratchet (issue #8), he has been damaged; Megatron has no free will, and can only follow Joey's orders.

Joey, on the run from the mob boss Lomax, uses Megatron in a series of holdups and robberies. With Megatron's destructive powers, Joey slowly builds his confidence and holds bigger and bigger heists, until he reaches the point where no one can stop him. But Joey is still unhappy; his followers are only after his money, and he misses the intimacy of the friends and kids from his old neighborhood.

Finally, Joey raids Lomax's estate, easily defeating the mob boss's guards and defenses. Dropping Megatron, Joey confronts Lomax and clobbers him with a left hook, then explains that he's here to repay the original loan. Joey is then confronted by an angry Megatron, who is cured by being dropped on the ground. Megatron is ready to destroy Joey for his audacity, but Joey refuses to be intimidated. This courage impresses Megatron enough to let the human live, and Megatron departs, leaving Joey to be captured by the police.
