Professor Morris fails to convince his superiors that Transformers are controlled by Blackrock. Morris secretly builds a machine to control them. In a swamp he discovers the missing Dinobot, Swoop, and uses his machine to control him. In fact he uses Swoop to attack the ARK! The other Autobots try to subdue him, but to no avail. Optimus orders Swoop to stop, knowing that Swoops' hatred for orders would break the mental control. Morris destroys his machine and is arrested. Swoop attacks again, but is pacified and transferred to med bay, where it is found he had a mental breakdown due to his cybodendrons burning out after his extended burial in a tar pit. Knowing this, the Autobots begin the Dinobot Hunt.
